Riverside Walk
Riverside Walk is the name that will be given to the new mixed walking and cycling lane. This will be located in the south of the development, facing the Gallions Point Marina. It will connect the western part of the development (starting at Royal Albert Dock) and will finish at the University of East London.
Vision
To create a mixed walking & cycling lane (as seen in the picture to the left) with the cycle lanes painted in red.
Location on the map
The Riverside Walk cycling lane is highlighted in red bordered by a white line.
Inspiration from elsewhere
Cycling lanes in the Netherlands (such as one in Utrecht as seen on the picture to the left) are sources of inspiration for Riverside Walk.
