Having access to high quality green spaces on your doorstep is a human right, and needed more than ever in a post-pandemic world. Prolonged isolation has enhanced people's demand for more green spaces.
Location of green spaces and infrastructure
Green spaces will be spread out across the whole development. Areas marked green on the map represent areas with green spaces, some of which will be located near the heritage buildings and Beckton Park DLR station.
Types of green spaces this development aims to provide
To increase variety, the development will have different types of green spaces. For example, smaller green areas will incorporate pocket parks (as seen in the picture on the right).
